Lost item/ not arrived

I have an email from eBay with all order details and saying item is in transit, but when I enquire into past orders it’s not there, so I cannot contact seller to advise them for a refund or cancel.

Re: Lost item/ not arrived

Why would you ask for a refund or cancelation if it says it is in transit?

Do you mean it is not under your purchase history?

Have you changed the drop down menu to cover the time period from when you purchased?

What was the estimated delivery date?

The seller is in China, so more than likely it will arrive later than eBay's guess

Re: Lost item/ not arrived

You cannot name anyone on the boards - but that seller is in China, with so-so feedback.

When did you order? If you can't see the transaction, then it could be more than 90 days.

Do you mean the seller simply marked it as shipped, but did not provide a tracking number?

You really need to be proactive about your purchases - if the estimated date of delivery has passed, then you should open a case for "Not Received". You don't need to communicate back and forth with a seller (some Chinese sellers are notorious for delaying tactics).

If you paid via Paypal, then open a case there as you have 180 days. Do not close it until you have your money back, no matter what the seller says. Some sellers falsely promise to send/refund if you close the dispute, but that is a lie.
