Need I highlight some words?
To the "eBay team" who is "regularly check"ing "this board for reported issues", please make efforts to ensure the users making authoritative claims are doing so with citations from the actual references in questions, as it seems they're not reflecting reality. That is to say, there are users here who claim to know the policies, but don't, and are spreading their broken assumptions regarding the policies onto other users... not helpful!

That's interesting, I have an attempted trojan.
My IP address is dynamic, I hope yours is.

Good god, help us all!
> dynamic
I'll go you one better; not only is my IP dynamic, but it's also NAT routed and shared amongst tens of thousands of other users. No **bleep**s given here...

@ramadsebas,
These are public boards.
You do not have the right - either morally or under eBay's Community content policy - to post members' IP addresses. The reasons for that should be self-evident.
I further reiterate what has been said here. Although this particular board is marked as being Inside eBay > Technical Issues, it is misleading. This board is not a question-and-answer forum to eBay technical staff, or indeed eBay staff of any description.
To get a better view of this board, look at the full link/descriptor towards the top of this page, just under the eBay logo. It says:
The eBay Community > Discussion Boards > Inside eBay > Technical Issues > [name of thread]
In other words, it is part of and contained within the eBay "Community", a public forum with multiple discussion boards, in which eBay members (the "Community") respond to new threads, posts, or replies, made by fellow eBay members. Much of the information posted within this "Community" is of enormous help. Sometimes there's a bit of banter. Both buyers and sellers can have difficulties or questions, and many times the information posted in response provides exactly the guidance needed.
It is important to avoid any conflicts from becoming too hostile, as that contravenes board policy and makes for a very unpleasant atmosphere. Board moderators who are employed by Lithium (who run these boards) can and do remove posts or excise sections from posts as and when appropriate.

Citations, please? The useful information, it all needs citations. You can find a link to the eBay terms of use at the bottom of the page, I have confidence in you. When people brush aside my question, on the basis that a premise is invalid despite being the premise being well supported by the official terms of use... clearly the information is coming from a clueless source, right?
For future reference, I found the answer to my question, but I had to dig pretty deep to do so, and when I found the answer to my question, what the people of this community was unfortunately unfounded. I stated my case to customerhelp_au@ebay.com and within 24 hours received a response asking for a copy of the email.
Ban me, I don't care. I'd rather get the job done and move on than sit around on a forum being "helpful" and feeling sorry for myself... right? The job's done. Peace!

So you used the information given on your other thread:
https ://community.ebay.com.au/t5/Technical-Issues/Seller-has-violated-policy-who-to-contact/m-p/2192691#M2449
You used that info to contact eBay as suggested(as they are the only ones that could do anything about
your complaint as you ignored all the advice that stated that eBay employees don't post on the boards
anymore,as pointed out on your other thread).
Then you claim you had to dig deep to find the info when all you did is follow the advice given to you on the
other thread which was all posted 47 hours before this comment of yours such as:
Further down is Help,(which is where you need to go if you want to contact eBay as it has their
Chat and ways for phone contact at the bottom of that page).
Now all of the sudden: You can find a link to the eBay terms of use at the bottom of the page,(Policies) but you
didn't know how to find Help,(which is on the same line.),
So why bother asking a question when you are going to ignore the answers but you will use any useful
information but claim it as your own "research",
on 20-10-2018 09:50 PM
... and an admission that, demonstrably, eBay staff don't read or respond to the boards.
