Hey,
Within the help section you have an article on how to report an item for price gouging, and yet if you try to report an item there is no such option as the article describes. Could you please fix this, and while talking about price gouging, could you please pull down all these sellers that are putting up rediculous prices for the new generation consoles. It's disgusting, they shouldn't be getting a single dollar from being unpleasant and charging double the retail price. Please put a maximum listing price on the new gen consoles, or at least monitor what's going on.
Thank you,
S

Sellers can charge what they like for their items......you don't have to buy from them if it is too expensive.

Price gouging is for things like PPE and hygien related items, not games and toys
If you feel that strongly about what other people knowing choose to pay, contact the sellers and tell them what you think of them

Profiteering is the term for essential items, price gouging is just being unpleasant
Yeah, maybe. I just feel like ebay shouldn't be letting it happen. It's not like a vintage item or anything, there should be limits based on current retail prices. They buy multiples to rip people off.

I can't find an email anywhere to contact them directly.

Emailing is useless, it is an automated bot system
There is a help tab at the top and bottom of every page, follow the 'steps' there to contact eBay via Live Chat

No point. All emails are answered by bots.
You call it price-gouging; eBay and most people call it caveat emptor.
Don't like the price, don't buy. I'm sure Microsoft and Sony will be producing more Xbox <insert current version here> and PS5s in the future. Wait until then, and buy from a shop. Or wait for the next generation and get in quicker.
I could, if I was interested, have bought a PS5 pre-ordered, from JB and paid retail. And I would have had it posted to me if I couldn't collect. I'm sure JB isn't the only legitimate retailer to do online sales.
