I have been trying for over 2 months to pay my Ebay Seller fees of just over $90, this used to happen automatically and is still set up like that but isn't paying it anymore (yes I checked my card was up to date).
I tried one time payment several times and get an error "Something went wrong..."
Ebay support are as useful as a bucket with a hole in it and have assured me on two occasions that it would be fixed.
My account is suspended due to their system issues and I'm heading towards late payment fees because they cant help me to give them money!
I cant even close my account and get them to send me an invoice by another means (Paypal I would've assumed would make sense) as the option to close account is blocked when you owe fees.
I had a look at some consumer law and will be getting advice on Monday as to how to proceed, ready to walk away from ebay after two decades of use.

Haha another F-up, my profile here says 2010, it was 2002 (look above)
My goodness, I'm loosing more and more confidence with your ability to run a business by the minute.
If these guys are handling money no wonder it is going pear-shaped.

The date shown here is when you 'joined the forum' rather than when you registered with eBay
eBay neither read nor run this forum, a company called Khoros do
And this is a member to member forum, nobody here runs eBay

Are you signed up and verified for the Managed Payments system which has been in place for 2+ years now?
What seller fees are you talking about? I don't see any sales on this account, do you have another one?
Under the new system, fees are taken out of the sale immediately and the balance is sent to your bank account. There is no more PP for sellers.

Well it might be a F-up,.....by guess who!
At least egg is supposed to be good for the skin.

Having the exact same issue as you @valvechild. Have been trying to pay fees for weeks, have 100% rating and my account was also opened in 2002.
Multiple chat and phone support calls all end in 'its a known technical issue and it will be fixed soon'. Doesn't stop them sending reminder messages to pay, which is frustrating as hell.
I ended up starting a new 2nd account. But feel pretty bitter about the whole thing.

Hello yes signed up for that and my money for selling an item was held until that went through. That is when the issues with being able to pay started.

Wait until you get a notice that you are being sent to debt collectors for a fault in their system that isn’t allowing you to pay. I got this email this week. I just keep getting told it will be fixed in 24 or 48 hours basically so they can say it’s resolved and get rid of me, but it never gets fixed.

It would suck if our credit ratings were affected by this. I sent another followup message last night to support. Same **bleep** replies. The link they provided shows my account owes zero. If I go through eBay / payment it still shows money owing. And if I try paying, still get the error.
If nothing happens in the next week I may just close account. It'd be fun if you can't close an account because you have outstanding fees that you can't pay.

We’ll get ready to laugh…. Because I asked them that if I close my account will they bill me for the outstanding amount. Guess what, you can’t close an account with outstanding fees.
I’d hate to give up my account with over 800 positive feedback over 20 years, but I was just looking for ANY solution!
yea if my credit rating is affected I’ll be taking them to court.
I have a second account now too just so I can keep buying for now.
