what's with the slow loading and glitching pages. errors and alerts.
Its very hard to manoeuvre around my account. Heavens forbid that buyers are effected .
High chance they are as my sales are down dramatically!
At the moment I cant even reach the print labels page to get addresses and forget about messaging.
Very frustrating . even now the page is refreshing itself , giving a warning that it cant be completed then refreshing to being normal

I was hoping you could tell us
It has been slow for me for a long time, but the past several days, almost unusably so
Other members cannot tell you why
eBay would tell you it has been escalated to tech and will be fixed in 24-48 hours (it hasn't and it wont)
The two new scammers who have appeared on the forum in the past few days will tell you to contact them (don't) and that they are 'experts in .......' (they aren't) they are scammers using hacked accounts to post here and try and get info from members
They should have been banned already, but have not

Same here. I have found that whenever they tweak the app, the normal site melts down.
I have both, so can alternate 🙄

I was going to post a 'warning' thread today but I'll post the information here instead.
I've just logged in so I didn't see the IDs who claimed to be experts and who asked the OP to contact them BUT ever since the first two appeared on our forum, I've been looking into it.
They post everywhere, especially facebook, other eBay sites and I think it's going to happen more frequently here since I read elsewhere yesterday " Now expanding into Australia"
For ALL new sellers who may read the threads -
BEWARE - DO NOT CONTACT any user ID who claims to be a 'Certified eBay Consultant' and asks you to contact them regarding help with your eBay account .
DO NOT REPLY to any messages you may receive from them. Report them
They're 99% registered in Pakistan but are also registered in Australia .
There are 1000s of them
Elsewhere, they claim to be eg:
A Certified eBay Consultant & Growth Expert pecialist - Virtual Assistant - Book a consultation
Account Management
Defect Removal
Listing Optimisation
Product Hunting
Pricing and competitor analysis
eBay store set up and optimisation
Dispute handling
Reinstatement of suspended accounts
"Looking for eBay clients in the UK, US and Australia"
Book a consultation (on Whatsapp)
The 'elsewhere' site also has high quality perfume for sale !
along with plenty of eBay accounts for sale eg:
"Whats price of ebay account with 100+ feedbacks?"

And they are supported to continue posting here
Apparently the rules about keeping the forum safe are as legit as the rules about keeping eBay safe
As in, fully aware of these scammers but they are allowed to carry on
casey, it is the same scammer who posted on the 'Blokes' thread about being an expert in all things eBay, they are the same scammer who posted on the thread about someone's item not arriving to send them a private message with their details etc
Same scammer who also uses the other ID to post similar scams

I encourage everyone , new or otherwise, who may just read the threads to pass all of this information around to everyone you know because I believe Australia will soon be flooded with this
" Certified eBay Consultant' rubbish.
Another example, all users in Pakistan:
Post: "Need eBay tracking for eBay account urgently"
Numerous replies include:

Mine is faster since I had to buy a new phone.
I've now got 5G and everything loads quicker.

Reboot your device.
Clear cache and cookies.
It is most likely to be at your end.

Thanks , I've done all that and still ebay is my only lag site.
Haha I was even contemplating a new PC
PS. AI tells me many people are finding these difficulties with ebay.

Just a thought...
Has anyone tried opening a Private window?
