I have been searching high and low to no avail for somewhere to raise a ticket with eBay about their website not letting me reply to messages from sellers. It just goes to a 404 page.
How can it be this difficult to get technical support from a company as big as eBay?
Apologies, but I'm a little frustrated at the time of writing this.

Have you tried the usual "fix" of clearing cache and cookies then rebooting your computer ? Also you could try a different browser, I'm using Firefox and Chrome with no issues.

Hi Padi,
Thanks for responding, but I was hoping to find out how to raise a ticket.
I haven't tried those troubleshooting steps as this is a 404 error which is the server is unable to find the specific page. So not a localised issue on my end. For reference, I have tried replying on Safari, Firefox, and a few chromium-based browsers as well. This error occurs regardless of what network and machine(desktop) I'm on. My only workaround is to reply in the eBay App on a mobile phone.
cheers,

Your only option would be to go to the "help Pages" then go to "contacting a seller" then scroll to the bottom and use the "chat with us" function. Initially those replies are bot-driven, but as soon as you can ask to speak to a CS rep. As I said previously I'm not having any problems with contacting sellers, so try the "cache and cookies" thing before you do that.
Edit. G'day Sandy.

I'm afraid I do not know how to go about raising a ticket these days, but
Do you get as far as typing anything at all when trying to reply, or is it an instant 404 as soon as you hit reply?
There were several comments from members they could only type one letter or so and then got other errors and it seemed in most of those cases, Grammarly was to blame
I just thought I'd throw that out there in case

Hey sandypebbles,
Instant 404, but cheers for the tip about Grammarly, I'll 100% keep that in mind for future endeavors.

Hey padi, can you link these "help pages", like I said in the original post, I've been searching high and low. Albeit frustrated and maybe looked over something but I just kept ending up at the "Contact us" page which infuriatingly doesn't provide any contact information. This "chat with us" function is borderline exactly what I'm looking for, thank you very much!
I'm not going to clear my cache and cookies as even if that could fix this issue, it would be a bandaid fix and not an actual solution. Also, please stop with the "it works for me" stuff, it really doesn't help me at all.

My apologies, I meant to do that for you. Here you go.

No problem, I'm out of here.
