Why won't EBay let me delete watched items?

For the last few weeks or maybe longer I have not been able to delete items I have added to my watch list. Sometimes I add things when I want to compare prices and offers or are not ready to buy yet but can use that listing to buy from "Similar" Listings later on. The "Delete" is there but nothing happens when I cick on it. The item stays there and the list is getting very long. Even sold items or those whose aution has finshed will not delete. WHY?

This is one of the many threads about this currently extant. Maybe do a search first to see if there are any solutions.

Click to the far left of the item to be deleted ,in the box, this turns the item a different colour, then check the arrow at the top of the Watch list next to delete, click this delete button, and selected items are deleted

I've been doing that for years. Doesn't work now.

There is probably only one item that will not delete. I assume all others will - but I'm not going to do that, I do not want to delete them!

Try using another browser to delete that item.

Or try deleting from the Summary page instead of the Watch List page.

Or try deleting that item using the eBay app.

Or try deleting that item on ebay.com or ebay.ca instead of ebay.com.au.
