Item shows everywhere that it sold for $10. Customer confirms they saw $10. But the bill says $8.50
Anyone ever seen anything like that before? Absolutely everywhere including the sold items list on eBay search function shows that this particular item was sold for $10 and yet, the customer was charged $8.50 and I was paid $8.50 before fees.

I only sell in AUD and the item was sold to someone in Australia
If you do a search for
and look for sold listings that will show you mine. It shows as sold for $10. Shows as $10 absolutely everywhere, but eBay only charged $8.50 and tech support couldn't help me.

Did you go to HELP, and ask for a call back, or just type to the bots?

I live chatted a human being after a lot of circling with the bots.

Were you participating in a promotion ( there's one currently running for 15/17% off) or maybe they used a voucher? Although I was under the impression that if a voucher was used the seller would still get the same amount as eBay would make up the difference.
The listing definitely says $10 and usually if an offer was accepted it would show the offer/ discounted amount

Actually I just checked (on an offer I accepted today) and it still shows the original price on the sold page. Ebay have been messing with the format/ layout the last week or two .
You don't have auto accept offers set up??
Could be an eBay glitch- it is Friday.

Are you sure you hadnt sent out offers on your items, I looked at a couple of yours yesterday, and today I got an offer from you on it. So maybe they accepted one of your offers.

That was my expectation and how things have worked previously. My assumption is eBay lumped me in with some kind of promotion they were running and decided to stiff me my full amount. I didn't ask to nor consent to be in any of their own promotions and I know I didn't send an offer that low so I'm stumped. The human I ended up chatting with never made a case either for me like they said they would so I'll have to follow it up.

I do have offers in place and most I send personally, however I know I wouldn't have sent one as low as that for that particular item.
