orders stuck in awaiting postage.

Is anyone else having problems with their items getting stuck in the awaiting postage category.

I now have two items that have been dispatched with tracking updated that will not allow to be marked as sent.

They are now overdue for dispatch by a few days and it's concerning me it will interfere with my account.

Have spoken to eBay four times about the first one not being able to mark as sent, and now there is two.

Because they blend in with my other orders awaiting postage, I have to be careful not to dispatch them again.

Any thoughts?

Try another browser.

Sometimes there are Ebay glitches on one browser but no problems on another one.

Or are you using the app? If so, jump onto a computer.

Hello and thank you for your interest, yes I have tried different browsers all unsuccessfully.

EBay have admitted its something they're having difficulties with, I really trying to find out how widespread.

While you wait for it to be resolved, perhaps extend out your handling time substantially to give you a buffer.

Hi, the buyer doesn't seem to know any different as I tried to explain why it hasn't been posted.

To the buyer it all seems normal, the tracking number is shown to them and the item appears posted to them.

The items are in both worlds i.e. yet to be posted and posted with tracking.

I spoke to eBay again today and after lots of back and forth to bring the new eBay contact up to speed, they handed me over to the technical department.

Who knows what's going on, I'm guessing it some technical issues they don't know how to resolve.

Referring matters to Ebays "technical department" is one of the biggest excuses CS comes up with for not knowing how to solve issues. CS barely know how to handle the most basic of matters, let alone anything more complicated and most often haven't got a clue and give incorrect or misguided advice. They will tell you anything to get you off the chat.
