Re: search feature now a joke, is ebay finished?

I have no problems finding what I want using search.

I'm not going to be swayed by someone who posts 2 year old links or drags up 2 year old threads.

People have been predicting the demise of eBay since Adam played fullback for Bethlehem.

I still sell on eBay. I haven't bothered to click your link, but I bet it is scaremongering. Something ecommercebytes has refined to a fine art.

So its on Wh Wh Wh,  it must be true.   Ebay still Number 1  ozzie market place,   Number 2 is not even on the same page.

point taken, been writing headlines too long, got frustrated, read 'that' post, agreed with it on face value....

... Been experimenting, I'm in Oz... (and a newb on this forum, I haven't had many technical problems I couldn't find workarounds to on ebay).

The issue, ie only 160 listings returned, occurred whilst searching for automotive parts.

I just tried to replicate the 'failure' (ie only 160 listings returned).  It has something to do with, at least for me atm, with searches within Vehicle Parts & Accessories.

I apologise for my sweeping accusations. Tried to edit header, couldn't see how.

Inner cynic alarmism... but still search results (at least within Vehicle Parts) isn't working 'properly' imo

thanks adrianjt
