International postage

Hi,

All my listings are for postage within Australia only

I had a buyer from France make me an offer which I now want to accept.

I am trying to send him an invoice as he has agreed to pay the postage but when I try and send it I am getting this message - You haven't specified postage to the buyer's location. Please verify the postage options before submitting the invoice.

Is this because I specified Australia only? How do I fix this?

Thanks

Erika

Re: International postage

As an alternative you can create a separate/new listing which is just for the postage only. You can then send the link to the buyer.

How much have you charged the buyer for postage? Hopefully you are sending as tracked. If it's the magazine you sold, I think it goes in the large letter registered envelope for just under $30.

Just as an aside, France is one of those dubious countries in regards to postage. Lots of issues and items that go "missing". Often delays at Customs and within the postal system itself, so buyers are quick to open cases.

Re: International postage

Be aware,  France has implemented new covid restrictions,  and  AP advises deliveries to France are likely to be delayed.    By shipping to France at this time, there is a high risk you will lose your item, payment and postage cost.
