I have received numerous messages saying the bag I sold has not been sent. It was sent and has been received.

If you were paid for the boots you sold, then you are signed up for managed payments but your payment for the bag will still be on hold as you're an irregular seller.
Did you upload tracking ?
You have a second , what appears to be , identical bag for sale.
Is that correct or a mistake ?

@sassyy19,
No. Being signed up for Managed Payments is different to having sold things on eBay some years ago. In the interim there has been a huge change.
eBay entered into an agreement with Adyen to set up an in-house payment system. Buyers now pay the seller indirectly, as the payment is processed by Adyen and goes to eBay. eBay holds the payment for a period of time (usually 30 days) if the seller in question is new or hadn’t sold recently, or if there’s a notable change in seller’s selling activity. This is a risk mitigation against fraud.
Once a seller is selling regularly enough to no longer be considered “new”, the funds will be disbursed to the seller as per the seller’s payout schedule, to the seller’s verified bank account. The funds disbursed will be minus any fees payable to eBay.
So… you need to have signed up to MP (Managed Payments) specifically.
This involves verifying your bank account as explained here: https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/getting-paid/registering-seller?id=4792
It must be an everyday transactional account - that is, a bank account from which funds can be withdrawn as well as into which funds can be deposited. It must be an Australian bank account. The name on the account must match the name on your eBay account exactly.
Verification is via one of two methods:
1) login credentials, or
2) microdeposits.
(Login credentials is the fastest method, but you should of course change your bank account password after verifying the account.)
Secondly - you must verify your identity. eBay seems to accept only two documents for photo ID: driver licence or passport. It’s a terrible setup for many people; for some reason eBay just can’t verify photo ID such as Proof of Age card, or Keypass.
If you haven’t done these things, you won’t receive your money. No need to rail at eBay on this topic: it’s the result of beefed-up Australian legislation re money laundering and fraudulent financial behaviour.

As already explained, Managed Payments
The one and only option for every seller to be paid
And again, the hold on funds is because you havre not sold in a long time, all the items you have sold over the years does not count for the here and no
Only you know if you signed up and we’re verified to sell, in the present
It is not simply a matter of eBay having your bank details, so no, that does not mean you are signed up
Have you read the link Countess posted? And then that Padi posted again?
You have to do all steps and then you have to be verified
And then the 30 day hold will still apply to you after that
And having the tracking is not good enough, you need to actually upload it, and if you haven’t, that is another issue
There is really no more we can tell you, you have been given the information and links several times
What you choose to do with it is up to you

OP has been given multiple links, and advice, but has decided not to read any of them and think they know better.
Can't help those who can't help themselves.
It's really not that hard.

I think there's more to this than meets the eye.
@sassyy19
"I have received numerous messages saying the bag I sold has not been sent
It looks like automated from ebay"
What exactly do the messages say ? Can you post one of the messages ?
"I have an account showing all the items I have sold over the years"
When advised on your own thread to make yourself aware of a buyer's MBG with you as the seller because you were selling high end goods, your reply was:
"There is only 1 bag of mine and I sold a pair of boots that were too small. I am not really use to buying or selling much on ebay especially since I have read so many bad Reviews about Ebay "
Were the boots cash on pick up or did eBay pay you after a 30 day hold ?
If eBay paid you, then there's a good chance you're already signed up for managed payments as the sale was in the last 6 months.
If not, then as already advised, you're not going to receive any money until you have signed up and your payment will still be on hold.
You need to upload tracking NOW.
"I have emails from buyer saying it was received"
If you need to contact eBay at any stage, point out that the buyer's given you feedback and they'll also be able to read the message from the buyer saying that the bag was received
And remember, experienced members are trying to help you.

Do you mean MBG?
Its’s eBay’s Money Back Guarantee.
All of us on this thread want to help you, but it does appear you haven’t read the basic Help pages and policy pages. (Am I correct?)
Please read (and I strongly suggest you bookmark the link so that you can refer back to it as needed):
You should do the same with the link I posted in my earlier reply – that is, Registering as a seller. (All about Managed Payments, often referred to simply as MP.)

Thank you both have links been very helpful. I went to the seller dashboard from your recent link and found I was "above standard" as a seller. That showed 100% that I am registered as a Seller which I was also wondering somehow also. It also shows I have done the right thing by sending the 2 recent items I have had up for sale.
on 30-12-2024 11:49 AM
Is it the one you’ve been left feedback for?
Who is sending you messages? Did you upload tracking?
on 30-12-2024 11:51 AM
Did you upload the tracking?
Who were the messages from? (are they auto generated eBay messages?)
Have you fully completed sign up to Managed Payments and been verified to sell before you listed anything?
And the 30 day hold on funds to all new sellers still applies from that point

It looks like automated from ebay. I did send through buying AP voucher just took it to the post office & sent it straight away as the buyer wanted it before they went away for Christmas. It should NOT be this hard to get paid. I have emails from seller saying it was received & told them to contact you. Which I take it they did. If selling is this hard after having problems not receiving products like I have had. I will not be selling anything more on eBay. The message says they have funds on HOLD????
on 01-01-2025 02:38 PM
YES I am listed to sell as I have been selling on ebay for years
on 01-01-2025 02:47 PM
They would not have told anyone to contact the member to member forum, we cannot release your funds
Emails from the (buyer, I assume you mean) are not acceptable for eBay
And again, did you upload the tracking
Are you fully signed up and verified to sell
Either way, your funds will still be on hold as you are considered a new seller by eBay (does not matter if you sold hundreds of things years ago)
Other members cannot help you any further re the holds
You will need to contact eBay and ask what the issue is, if everything you need to do has been correctly done
on 01-01-2025 02:49 PM
The seller has showed me the $270 paid by Westpack to ebay
on 01-01-2025 02:52 PM
It seems impossible to find anyone to contact. It is an automated answer by a computer

In reply to sassyy19
P.S It would be a lot less confusing if you stopped saying 'seller' when you mean 'buyer'
You are the seller.
