hi I have been in contact with this buyer since the 31st dec about getting a refund as for myself his advertising was very misleading. he said he was happy to refund. he received the item. He then told me I had to go via PayPal which i did. PayPal told me I need to go through the Merchant as this would be quicker. I told him this & he told me no, I had to go via PayPay & open a case. I did this & I know they contacted him & i did not hear from him for a week or so. I contacted hism & told him I know they contacted him & why is it taking so long for my refund. He said Ebay will automatically pay me. that was over a week ago & still have not received nothing. My purchase was order Insta 360 ONE R Insta 360 Price AU$549.99.
im sure you can access all of my messages to him. I feel he is giving me the runaround.

You have already sent the item back I take it as you said he [I assume you mean the seller] has received the item.

You never send an item back to a seller without going through the correct channels. If you have opened a paypal case you should receive the refund but paypal will want proof it was sent back, have they contacted you at all.
Sorry if I am completely wrong but your post is extremely confusing.
