I won an auction back in September. The seller refused to complete the transaction. I reported this to ebay.
I also reported to ebay that the sellers contact number was a business number and when answered noone could identify the seller. I received an email from ebay who confirmed the contact details were incorrect.
The seller came up with one crazy excuse after another as to why I couldnt collect the item. I gave up and left them negative feedback.
Ive just discovered the seller responded to my feedback and has stated they wouldnt sell to me because I was rude and aggressive. I cant believe it. All my communication was via ebay and at no time was I rude or aggressive.
I have attempted to complete the "Feedback abuse" form to ebay customer support but it gets rejected. Error message reads "Item number(s) 280951613126 is not valid or belongs to an item that has ended. Please try again"
How can I get the sellers response removed?
I didnt even think they would be elligible to leave feedback as they didnt complete the transaction.
Any advice appreciated, thanks

No harm in trying to get it removed but I advise you don't hold your breath for anything else being done about any violation around here.

Contact Customer Support by phone and ask them to remove it:-)

Ebay can't make decisions about who is right and wrong in these situations, they are merely an advertising medium like the newspaper or a garage sale, not a judge and jury or someone with feelings.
The seller has made themselves look the aggressive one with the capitals and shouting, so you need to follow up their feedback with the "last word" carefully and neutrally and let people work it out for themselves. In the end, unless you are a seller, what does it matter. No-one is going to block you from buying from one seller leaving a flippant rude message and as you can only see it on "feedback left for others" hardly anyone will even see it !
Buyers can only ever have 100% positive feedback and sellers have every right to use the follow up to explain their side, and in a lot of cases the seller is the aggrieved party. So just follow up their feedback with a well thought out comment and just forget it 🙂

From what I know it can't be removed because it's on the seller's feedback page not yours.

Sellers haven't been able to leave negative feedback for almost 5 years so if the seller did threaten that,it was an empty laughable threat anyway.
No one would have even noticed that comment if you hadn't drawn attention to it.

Why would you want it removed? It just makes the seller look even worse than they did before they left the follow up!

Kelly, that feedback is the least of your problems. If your DSR's,% & negs get any worse, you'll find yourself either restricted or suspended from selling altogether.
