Just wondering, if i am a buyer, and receive an unpaid item strike for an item (unpaid item case expiring), ebay closes the transaction, can i still leave feedback for the seller after that?
Or shall feedback to left prior to the an "upaid item case" expiring.

NO you cannot leave f/b for a closed unpaid item case
and if you leave it prior to the case closing, the seller can request its removal after the case closes.

Tell me WHY did you bid if you didn't intend to pay ?????
And WHY should you have any right to leave feedback if YOU didn't hold up your end of the sale ???
You have cost the seller money, not to mention TIME by not paying for your item that you did bid on & win, so why would you want to leave feedback because the seller is upset with you ???

There are a load of reasons why a buyer may not make payment, including a seller insisting on bank deposit, a seller adding additional charges to invoice, item out of stock and the delay has been advised after sale, buyer changed mind, no contact from seller regarding an after-sale query, seller won't send to POBox etc etc etc
Not sure why the question is even being asked, as the OPs post is about leaving feedback ?:|

So adversarial! Buyers are not your enemies...they're actually the people putting money in your pocket, and assuming the worst case scenario when a buyer doesn't finalise a transaction is counter-productive.

All explained in this thread.

I have to agree with the response given in the other thread. It was less than $2.00, pay it, and move on. Way too much stress over nothing

I think the only way you can leave feedback after the dispute is closed is if you have responded to the dispute and made some attempt to resolve it.
If you don't respond or pay you forfeit the privelege of leaving feedback.
In a perfect world the feedback system would be used fairly, not as a way to vent spite towards sellers or buyers.
We can live in hope anyway.

Once an unpaid item dispute is closed neither the seller or buyer can leave feedback and if it was left before the dispute was closed it will be removed when the dispute is closed.
There is no option as such to reply to the dispute just a link to appeal it if closed and a strike issued to remove the strike.

I can not believe you are still stressing over an item worth less than $2...pay it and solve the problem.
As for feedback...I hope you are not thinking of leaving a negative for a seller who has tried to solve the problem. He is quite willing to send the item if you use paypal but not through checkout.
You still have full paypal protection so why not do what the seller has suggested?
