I have been sent a PayPal invoice for excess postage.... after the company have sent the goods and after I have received them.
This extra postage was not quoted at time of purchase. Sorry not through ebay but I can't find anywhere on PayPal to ask.
So what I am asking is....
Can PayPal take the money from my account without me authorising it?
Also can PayPal close or freeze my account or flag me if I don't pay it.
Thank you so much for help.

Joe I can just imagine the sellers terms and condition.
Yes please be aware that if after you have purchased and paid in full for your item and have now received we can if we go out of business request extra money from you for postage because we actually charged you less.
We want you to feel sorry for us and would appreciate that extra money to help us.
An invoice will be sent to you via PayPal and payment will be gladly accepted asap.
WELL TELL THEM THEY'RE DREAMING!!!!

nobody has seen the invoice or the terms of the sale , until then its a bit hard to say dont worry about it,
the op only knows what was on the terms & condition [ a very important contract. ]
and yes it could be a plan to get extra money , but its up tp the op if they want to take the risk,

@joethenuts wrote:you would need to talk to someone in the legal field could be tricky .
seeking legal advice could end up more costly than simply paying the invoice. My advice would be that if you, the Opening Poster, still have any concerns then you should contact the Dept of Fair Trading or Consumer Affairs in your state for advice. This should only cost you the cost of the phone call.

The extra payment wasn't quoted at time of purchase.
And what contract??
Paid and delivered end of story.
Judge Judy would laugh this company out of court for wasting her time lol

No the company didn't give her the terms and cond and not that she didn't read them so if you're not given them then it's not the buyers fault but the companies.
Had this happen to me once so the contract was null and void due to the other parties fault.

They had a going out of business sale and didnt let me know (as per their terms and conditions) prior to order being sent that the shipping would be more than I had already paid so now they are trying to get more money from me.
Will you please read posts properly Joe?
OP did read the T & C
They did not inform her that there would be extra postage before she paid.
She paid what was asked
