Harrassment form a seller

Hello all... I am being harrassed by a Seller to remove a Neg I gave him for faulty goods ( chinese) 14 emails and counting. I know it is against Ebay rules to exhort feedback removal from buyers .I know the rules.. I have contacted Ebay and reported the emails and content 5 or 6 times and all I get is the links to the rules...I have blocked this seller but I know he can still email me.. The whining pidgion english is a croc and annoying. He says on his listing pages that he is from Australia. Says he is NOT dropshipping and yet my goods took 5 weeks to arrive. personally I think he is in HK.. Ebay seems to pander to these powersellers and buyers are left to rot. Their advice to me is to not answer and he will go away.. Guess what?... in 2 weeks, he hasn't gone away...What else can I do ?

Re: Harrassment form a seller

The seller trying to reverse feedback that is not deserved is not harassment.

The seller only wants a positive outcome.

And if the money was refunded and the items did turn up.

That how can any logical opinion be negative feedback ?????

I also get the feeling that alot of sellers would find this kind of neg feedback not deserved.

I think siggie hit the nail on the head it is persons perception/opinion of the transaction. In my opinion 15 plus emails is harrassment.

Re: Harrassment form a seller

Dont Ebay tell sellers to contact the buyer if they need feedback removal.

So if negotions even come close to 15 mails,Then maybe the buyer is being unreasonable as well.

This must mean alot to the seller.

Its not a 1 way way street ,

Re: Harrassment form a seller

So, if a buyer cannot be bullied, blackmailed or bribed on the first email, harass them?.....

Sellers should refund based on it being the right thing to do, or their business protocol.....not a red dot.

If a buyer does not qualify for a refund, don't threaten a red dot...... it goes both ways.

Re: Harrassment form a seller

It was never 15 + messages. OP exagerated that figure as evident by the seller posting all messages sent to the buyer. In fact a negative was given without even asking the seller to remedy the situation. First message sent to the buyer met with a lecture about not calling females 'mates'. OPs biggest gripe was that item was sent from HK when the item listing even mentioned this. OP did not read the listing correctly.

'If a buyer doesn't qualify for a refund' -confused what you are trying to say. Depending on the type of feedback left to the seller (negative in this situation) it cannot be removed.

Sellers can't leave negative feedback, so it certainly does not go 'both ways'

If a buyer is refused a refund (because they don't qualify) they should not try to bully the seller, with the threat of neg feedback.

Just as the seller has no place attempting to bully the buyer into removing it.

So yes, my point goes....both ways.........Woman Wink

Re: Harrassment form a seller

I still do not think getting unfair neg feedback removed is bullying.

If the buyer just removed it in the 1st place (Which applies here)...Especially if no contact by message was made in the 1st place.

Then the circus would not even have started.

You are still under the mistaken belief that feedback is fair.....

You still belief that the buyer should have been bullied into submission on the first email.......*sigh*

I seriously hope you don't sell.....,and no, I could not be bothered looking.
