Has REMOVED shutdown?

I bought USB 3.0 External CD DVD RW Writer Slim Drive Burner Reader_Player For PC Laptop from REMOVED on 21 May, 2020.

Looking at tracking (which is in Chinese)  the translation says it was in Sydney for a about 3 weeks, then sent back to Shanghai on the 1 July.  I looked at Australia Post's website and it seems they've suspended economy mail from China.  I contacted REMOVED a week ago with no response.  I send another message 3 days ago - no response.  Tried looking at their feedback, but its private and they don't have any items for sale now.  Have they closed down?  The item is due by tomorrow really, but I don't think that's happening.

Re: Has REMOVED shutdown?

Private or not, as you can see their feedback is beyond bad, very, very, very bad

60%

34 negs to their 19 positives in the past month alone

The 'due' date is eBay's guess, rarely are those correct (and especially at this time)

That aside, you have likely dodged a bullet with a garbage item that would have destroyed your laptop at best, or caused injury or fire,or worse

Open a INR dispute as soons as it allows (assuming you do npot hear from eBay the seller has been removed before that

You can't name and shame on the boards.  The name will be removed by the moderator.

A Chinese seller and with all those negatives, it brought their % down to 60.7%

That low and ebay would have stopped them from selling.

As soon as it's allowed by date, open an Item Not Received case in ebay to get your money back.

Don't let the case time out.  Escalate it as soon as it's allowed.

Sorry, wasn't trying to shame anyone.  I just wan't sure if they were still operating, especially now.  Thanks for advise.

Re: Has REMOVED shutdown?

They are not closed down but with Private feedback a member cannot sell.

But with a 60% rating who would want to buy from them anyway.

As already said, you have probably dodged a bullet anyway but just get a refund and take it as a very cheap lesson learned.....don't buy from Chinese sellers with garbage feedback.
