Having a heap of trouble getting a refund out of them. If anyone has any advice please let me know
on 28-11-2018 08:05 PM
i payed for the order, they then refused to send me the goods as, apparently my delivery and billing address were not the same (not to mention the email they sent me shows them and they are in fact identical).
They requested that i send them a copy of passport, drivers license etc in order to receive my order.
In spite my many attempts to point out their mistake, they completely ignored everything i was saying and kept requesting my id. I learnt today that they cancelled my order and will refund me 'soon'.
this is beyond criminal. i am now looking at how to find their business details and lodge a formal complaint

There's a report link on every listing on the RHS of the listing page.
BUT the whole thing screams of a scam to get your personal details.

Hi cruckem72, have you been able to get anywhere with the seller so far? Have you tried a request to seller iin a personalised message as per .. .. ..
"Hi, I am entitled to a refund. Please could you do the right thing by me and refund me. I'll look forward to dealing with you in the future as well. This I would be very thankful for. Many thanks. Regards"
It worked for me once.

now 4channel, I am sure that even you know that there are time limits on refund claims. The post you have replied to and encouraged cruckem72 to send a personal message to the seller WAS POSTED 20 MONTHS AGO.
When you post without consideration of the date of posting of the post you are replying to you give the impression that you are an incompetent poster.
Just sayin’

@4channel
Are you that bored that you trawl (troll) through old threads to drag up? This thread had not had a post for over a year, and you replied to the Opening Post which was about 20 months ago!
OR, are you just exercising your right to post on any thread you like . . . . . . and in doing so know you are going to wind up some regulars?
You know, there are members who post on these boards in genuine need of help and/or advice and when you bump old threads just for the sake of it you make it harder for those in genuine need of help.
You go on about how unwelcoming some regular members are towards new posters yet when they post on a ‘GST’ thread you don’t really offer any help or advice and just carry on with your predictable rant like you did to rainy_kate yesterday.
I guess you we should include the poster ID of 4channel as one of those nuisance regulars who are not really welcoming to new posters when you carry on the way you are.

BUT . . . . . did it work for you 20 months after the transaction??? If it didn’t then you have added nothing of substance to this thread.
I would think that if a buyer sent a seller a message like that after 20 months they would end up on a Blocked Buyer List regardless of whether you say you look forward to dealing with them in the future or not.

I doubt that the OP is going to answer you....or take your misguided advice.
It is 20 months since the question was asked and over a year since the OP has even logged into the boards.
Surely you can find more up to date threads to spend your time on.....at least it will not waste everyone else's time.

Pleae leave me alone Lyndal - You'll note that in the last week, Padi and someone else posted on this thread a weeka ago. Whay don't you say the same to them???? . I assumed it was relativly recent and didn't check the date of the original post. A common mistake. And I certainly didn't re-activate a 12 month old thread like K oooo 1 slr sales accused me of.
Lyndal ... .. .. please just give it a rest.
