How could anyone sell at this price, Is it on the Nose?

I'm almsot guaranteeing this is a scam, but I can't figure out the angle, it has to have one, but I can't figure it out.  It appears to be a hijacked account being used.  The seller says he's in the US and the ID is in the UK, selling on an Aussie Ebay ????

Please check it out and tell me what you think, please don't just say it's a scam, we know that, but how is he scamming when it's done via Paypal.  What has the sller figured out that nobody else has. There have been almosy 100 sold so where's the rub?

I'm assuming they let you know this info because you are somehow involved perhaps purchased or are purchasing otherwise like others have said PP wouldn't give you any info regarding the matter due to privacy laws which have now been made more private.

Not likely,(they generally operate from overseas,(eg: Romania,Russia,China,Nigeria are the main areas that they

operate from and they hardly ever get caught).

There was a Romanian town where most of the early scammers lived that operated on eBay and other sites,

(even when found out no charges were ever laid as the ploice were as corrupt as the scammers).

The replies are standard replies to cover them in case something goes pear shaped.

Hijacked accounts also mine data from the buyers they get, so it's not always just a money-making scam (eg every buyer who purchases from them provides a name, at least one email (including their PayPal address), usually a phone number, a delivery address (home or work can be useful info) - all of which can sold, and / or be used for further scam attempts.

They have not verified anything  "MAY"is exactly that.  Acting out of caution, the item would be removed,  as this reply would appear to be auto generated.   Note,  The item has been removed - The transaction was cancelled - Take the following precautions -  if you already paid  -  contact the payment service used,  None of which fits with the circumstances of reporting an item that may or may not be suspect
