Select account then site preferences in the left margin.

To the right of buyer requirements select show and edit.

Scroll to the bottom and tick the box "Don't allow buyers to contact me", then add them to the blocked list.

Members can reply to messages they've received for up to 90 days, so if you've replied to any, the block mentioned above won't work (the block actually just removes "contact seller" from listings, so it's not a block in the true sense of the word).

If someone is harassing you, though, you can report them to eBay if you think is will de-escalate the situation, as eBay will contact them on your behalf and tell them to stop.

You really need to get your facts straight.

You should only report a seller if you think they're violating our policies, for example:

• They offer to sell you a listed item outside of eBay
• They don't intend to complete the sale
• They sent threatening messages or used abusive or vulgar language
• They published another member's contact information
• The seller has provided you with false contact information
• You suspect the seller is under the age of 18.
