How do you get an empty shopping cart to show as empty at the top of the screen?

It continues to show 5 items when there are actually none there.

The 5 items appeared there after I won the 5 auctions, pending receipt of a combined postage invoice, but disappeared from the cart after I received and paid the invoice.

However, it continues to show with 5 items at the top of the screen (every screen, including this one), and it's irritating.

It usually goes away if you click on the cart.

Like Padi, I've never seen it.

And I have items I'm watching ending all day every day.

I can ignore the bell easily.

As for getting the cart emptied...if I've bought and paid for everything and

it still shows the items, I just click on the cart and then back out of it.

It clears after that.

I've had both the cart and the bell stay for days even though I knew there was nothing in them and I've clicked on

them a number of times,(my FF clears everything each time I log out including Cookies and Cache and they

should both clear but they don't,hence the clip),

You must be mousing over the bell.

That's the only time the reminders clog my screen.

They are called "slide ins" rather than pop ups. The adblock works for most slide ins, but it doesn't stop them on eBay.

No mousing going on here dave.

Tippy has said they're slide ins and yes they appear all the time when I have been outbid or my watch items are ending and because I have 100"s of items either ending at the same time or I'm being out bid they show up on the screen.

I did get rid of the bell a while back but it has come back to haunt me again lol.
