I've left negative feedback for a seller. The feedback had NO inappropriate comments and I commented that the negative feedback was based on my honest negative experience.
The seller requested a 'revision' but I declined, the seller then appealed to eBay and eBay removed my negative comments and negative rating.
eBay never informed me that they even removed my feedback for a seller?
eBay have said my negative feedback to the seller was removed on an internal decision?
eBay cannot give me a link to the relevant guidelines that I contravened
I've not breached any written guidelines and I can find NO reference to eBay having internal decisions that relate to my comments?
I'm at a loss and after messaging eBay and talking with numerous people (who all seem to have made the 1 decision?) I'm now unable to continue messaging because the original message/email address is no longer active.
I'm at a loss as to what policy I contravened to have my feedback removed?

You cannot find out if the seller has multiple accounts....why should you even want to?
Did you prove that the item was defective or did you just leave feedback to that effect?

lol lol lol just that u brought it up that the seller might have multiple accounts - thats all - no i had a dispute with the seller but i didnt mention in the feedback that i lost the case I dont know why ? because the item is defective - ebay - IMO just dont understand that the part that is defective is a vital part of the item not just an add on extra or an external part IDK

If you could stop writing in shorthand or phone speak, some of us might
actually know what you're talking about.
You mentioned on another thread about putting the case on hold?
Didn't know you could do that.....and why would you?

Stawks, I think you will find that the "hold" is just part of the normal ebay dispute process....waiting for the buyer or seller to reply before taking the next step in the process.

The English isn't perfect, but it suggests eBay is under the impression you changed your mind about the purchase rather than the item was faulty - there can be a few different reasons for this, but most of the time it's due to either opening a request and using a change of mind reason, or information provided by you, the seller, or both. It's not particularly common for a seller to win a Not As Described case with eBay accepting 'Buyer Remorse' as the reason, unless there is something in the purchase history to prove it.
Altthough it may seem like it, I'm not saying that's what happened with your case, just that these are the kinds of things eBay base their decisions on. You have the option to appeal the decision if you don't agree with it.

tyy for utr reply it doesnt seem to matter how many ways i told them the part was part of the item and not an external item and it doesnt work the clincher is that i should have asked the seller to fill up a 217 litre tank because there was no water in the tank so i could ascertain if the inbuilt sump worked as the seller neither gave the opportunity to do that or arranged for it to be done it was my fault and they found in the sellers favour - end of story

From this post I am guesing that it may have been a pickup item?
Until just recently there was no buyer or seller protection for pickup items as you were supposed to inspect them before paying and taking the item away.
There is now limited paypal protection. I suggest you take a look at the new policy and see if there are grounds for you to appeal.
