I'm really puzzled by this and I'm stuck with what to do.
On 31 May I purchased an item which came from China with an estimated delivery date of 20 June.
I subsequently received messages from eBay saying that my item was ready to collect and I must collect it by 7 June.
On 6 June (today) I go to collect it from Hey Felix Front Desk HUBBED, and it's not there.
According to them, it arrived on 31 May but there is no record of it being collected.
They have no idea what to do other than contacting the courier.
But there is no courier.
According to eBay order details, my package is ready to collect.
If I click <Track Package> it tells me my order was sent on 30 May (timeline difference I assume)
and that on 2024/06/05 12:28 Export Customs Declaration Completed CN.
So it left China, by air on 5th June.
As far as I can tell, I have to wait until after 20 June to lodge an order not received case.
Is that all I can do?
Help!

Buying from China and Click and Collect .....yikes, double whammy
What was a the seller's feedback like?
Possibly a fake 'tracking' number ?

I the message from eBay I missed this:
"We'll hold your parcel until the date listed above. If not collected by then, you will no longer be able to be covered by eBay Money Back Guarantee to claim a refund."
So that's great, I can't collect it because they haven't got it, although their records say they received it, and so I can't get a refund.
That's the last time I will use click and collect. It may be the last time I use eBay.

Lets be real here - if you purchased on May 31 there is no way in the world it is going to be here by June 6. The date of June 20 seems more realistic.
Agre with Sandy, double whammy on this one.

Not using click and collect is a very good plan
There are enough issues buying from sellers in Australia and using it, let alone China
And avoiding buying from sellers in China if they have awful feedback is always a good idea

I think that you should be contacting eBay Live Chat and ask for case to be opened on your behalf. Explain the situation. It might be a good idea for you to go immediately to police station to make a stat dec, and have it ready to upload to eBay when you talk to CS.
Do all of this today.

how can it possibly arrive on the day of purchase?.....wait until the last day of (estimated) delivery & lodge INR case then, if required.

I agree with countess in that I think you need to get all your documentation in order, all your records, then contact ebay right now. Via chat or call back.
There is no way that an item bought on 30 or 31st may was here on 31 May.
The collection point has it wrong in their records. It never arrived then at all. Maybe it entered their computer system as an item then, but it had not arrived.
Contact ebay and if you get no sense from whoever you chat to, contact them again. Ask for a record of the chat. They usually send that.
I'd do all this today and see if ebay will open a claim on your behalf. If not, then the police stat dec, depending on the cost of the item. And a follow up contact with ebay.

FWIW seller's feedback was 100%.

As a buyer or seller, or combination of both?
