Items that I am watching

I am annoyed that if I am watching an item and it becomes unavailable (eg: listing sells, ends) eBay now selects a 'LIKE' item instead of the actual watched item for me to view. This is annoying because I am not interseted in the 'LIKE' item but the actual item I have been watching for any number of reasons. Please revert back to how I viewed the ACTUAL ITEM in the past.

Re: Items that I am watching

Unfortunately many buyers do not realise they can have offensive feedback removed,

I suspect many of those buyers may not find it offensive anyway...depending on what item they have bought.

Disgusting!

The listing is on their id so only reflects on them.

The poor buyers have it showing on their id - imagine how they felt when they saw it!

Even if their products are great (& we have no reason to think otherwise), that lack of consideration for their customers means that we would never buy from them again, on any platform.

@auspro_fishing_health_n_more

The feedback you have left is disgraceful.

There is no excuse for putting what amounts to feedback graffiti filled with unimaginative crudities onto other people's feedback profile. If you're frustrated by eBay, that's understandable... but to let that lead you into foul potty-mouthed profanities posted on a public platform, where the buyers who purchased from you know who you are, is not only offensive, but foolish.

As a general rule, people who use repeated profanity are people with a stunted vocabulary (in my opinion).

This also happens with lost auctions, which is really annoying.

Recently I lost an auction for something quite valuable (almost 100 years old) and the second the auction ended the page changed to a "similar" item which was not similar at all, as it was a cheap modern toy!

About watched items... some items have disappeared from my watch list altogether. I assume they have been sold. I had most definitely not removed them.

Re ended auctions, if you click on Buy it gives a drop down menu where you can view

Didn't win.

As for the watched items 'disappearing', are you clicking on 'ended' on the status button at the top of your list?

I know I can view it there, but I find the similar item very annoying. When you lose an auction it is already annoying as it is without the page changing to something else...

About the watch list, it is actually weird because I do have some ended items and also items out of stock, but some have just disappeared. I don't know if items disappear from the watch list some time after they have been sold (I had some for quite some time), but I had not noticed this in the past.

Re: Items that I am watching

Similar listings being shown doesn't bother me, cos I click on the word 'listing' highlighted in blue.

Items drop off the watch list after 60 days, I believe.

Re: Items that I am watching

Items that have ended for whatever reason will sit at the end of your Watch List for up to 90 days before disappearing.

At least they used to but anything could be happening now.....ebay is forever fiddling and we never know what will change next.

Re: Items that I am watching

Yes, I had them on my watch list for quite a while, although I thought I still had one just a couple of weeks ago, but I am not sure.

I was looking at my watch list to see if there was something I wanted to buy before the GST.
