I'm just beside myself because my PayPal funds are being converted to US dollars when they're getting taken from my account.
What the hell is going on here?
So for every $0.99 AUD it is converting to USD of $0.66 what the hell?
Meaning that when $1 is getting taken it is only $0.66 being taken so it is showing that $0.33 is still owing.
Looks to me like the conversion isn't going through.
And why the hell would it all of a sudden be converted?
I haven't purchased anything in US $.
How is this possible and why is this possible.
Contacted PayPal but still no response from them.

Finally resolved and back to normal.
No explanation given as to why this happened so I let them have it any way, then received a less than impressive response.
Ended well in the end so just moving on as I couldn't be bothered arguing with people that can't seem to give any reasonable answers.

If you have any problems in the future, just call them. I've always found them efficient, helpful and fast resolving issues, provided you call and speak directly with them

Have you accidentally made USD your primary currency (in Wallet)? No I haven't that's why it's weird.
Ok things are bad again I tried to resolve the issue but they can't even help.
In my wallet it has both AUD and USD and I don't know why or how it has USD as I didn't use USD ever so it shouldn't be there.
Asked PayPal to remove it and they can't as it shows a negative balance in the USD but my PayPal balance is $0 so I don't know why it's showing as negative in USD.
When speaking to CS and asking them why is there a USD in my wallet they said because I have purchased or sold in USD but in no way shape or form has this happened and there is no evidence either so how did the USD show up in my wallet in the first place, this is a mystery and just darn annoying as I'm being charged a conversion fee for my troubles grrrrrr.

No I haven't and I have a feeling that I'm being targeted by PayPal for reasons unknown to me as I have had to go through many security processes sometimes just to be able to do things in my account and no answers as to why.
Not sure if my account has been hijacked?
No explanation from PayPal.
I'm just so angry because of the conversion fees I'm being charged.

As a last resort thre is still the Financial Services Ombudsman or whatever they are called now.
Paypal is scared of them....often just the threat of involving them is enough to see a quick solution.
