Speak to a supervisor when you phone eBay, do not be fobbed off, demand a supervisor.

I've appealed it, so will see how I go. If they refuse, THEN I'll get on the phone. I just know what I'm like and I prefer to remain polite. I don't swear or be vulagar, but I don't want to have to get firm on the phone.
Michelle. It's not the cost, it's the PRINCIPAL. I don't care about the monetary value. The seller did something they are not allowed to do. I am not going to reward that sneakiness. If they didn't like what I offered, the should not have been sneaky about it and accepted only to add on potage AFTER sale had finalised. It is absolutely NOT about being wary. How could I have been wary? I offered, and it was accepted. They had 100% feedback (only on 3-4 items, but still how could I have been wary of that?), there was NOTHING to indicate they were going to scam me. If you never bother asking, that is on you. I will NOT let someone rip me off. Absolutely not. I value honesty, integrity and dignity. This seller has none of those qualities. I wont let someone rip me off and get away with it.

You'll get used to Michelle. Her views rarely intersect with reality.
