I am writing to report a serious issue regarding a counterfeit product I purchased on eBay. Below are the purchase details:
I recently purchased the same product from a reputable pharmacy retail showroom and discovered that the one I received through eBay was fake. The counterfeit product appears to be a cheap cream packaged convincingly to mimic the original Cerave brand.
After using the eBay-purchased product for the past two months, I began developing serious health issues. This prompted me to verify its authenticity, which confirmed my suspicion of it being counterfeit.
This situation has raised concerns not only for my health but also for the safety of other buyers, as I noticed a large number of similar products being sold by this seller.
I kindly request that eBay investigates this matter urgently, contacts the seller, and takes appropriate action to prevent further sales of such counterfeit products. if you require any additonal info please do let me know.
Please inform me of the actions eBay will take to address this issue and ensure such incidents do not recur. I look forward to your prompt response.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

You are not addressing ebay here, and nobody here can d0 anything about it. Unless you have provided ebay with certified proof of fake item, they are not likely to take any action and in any event, ebay do not notify members of actions taken against other members.

Best you read the buying basics
Avoid buying products like this from random sellers on eBay
And provide eBay with your proof
eBay is highly unlikely to do a thing based simply on your say so alone
And other members are not going to contact eBay on your behalf

i have already notified them. I just wanted the community to know, as i can see the seller has already sold lots of items.

Perhaps you should have had a look at their feedback before buying from them.
98.7% is very poor for a high-volume seller, most members here suggest 99.5% as being the limit where you should be cautious.

If you'd checked their feedback, you would have seen by the negatives that their perfumes etc. are not a genuine product, thus saving yourself some trouble.
Reading all those negatives I would have hit the back button so fast it would make your head spin.

CW wasn't the seller and although the seller the OP is complaining about does have negative feedback for selling fakes,
it wouldn't all have been there when the OP purchased.
But as already advised , I also recommend avoiding buying products like this from random sellers on eBay

........it wouldn't all have been there when the OP purchased.
The seller the OP bought from has even worse feedback - 95.8%
OP bought in October, and there were plenty of negs back then to be seen.

Yes, I should have put
" may not have been there" as the feedback's in the last 6 months, the same as the OP.
Anyway, this reply to one of their their feedback says it all.
"Dear friend, please contact us at the first time"
