SENDLE COMPLAINTS

I came on to see if anyone else had problems with Sendle, to see multiple problems.  I paid for an item 28 days ago, and haven't received it. It's in some kind of Sendle limbo where they just add a couple of days into the future. The seller listed the item as post AP and I paid AP prices. At about 25 days, I requested a refund, as the event I bought it for was last weekend. I said I'd return it, which I would (should it ever actually arrive.) Now Ebay has delayed it's decision for another few days as well. I'm absolutely livid. It was supposed to arrive around 14 days ago. I'm relishing the bad feedback I'm going to give and I'm pretty sure this is it for ebay for me as a buyer.

SENDLE COMPLAINTS

Absolute rubbish.

Having sold in excess of 12,000 items - I have never given a ' choice ' - it's AP or nothing.

Over the counter - no eBay labels.

It has been stated - there was no list of choice - it was AP.

Give it up - unless of course you are going to apply your degree in - Storeman & Packaging with First Class Honours.

There's no harassment at all. I'm just trying to figure out which it is. Either the seller offered AP or they didn't. Either the buyer selected AP or they didn't.

In this case they're clearly saying they didn't select AP, but they're complaining because the seller didn't use AP.

What on earth are you not getting.

1. The seller's listing did show AP. I did not select it from a list.

And there you have it. Thankyou for agreeing with exactly what I'm saying. Your buyers have the choice of selecting AP - so that's obviously what they select.

However, we are not discussing which options were available. We are discussing which option was selected.

I'm simply trying to work out if the buyer selected AP and the seller used a different shipping method... but the buyer keeps giving contradicting statements. Their last comment actually stated that they didn't select AP at all.

Give it a rest, will ya?

In the grand scheme of things, it makes not one iota of difference to your listings, so why persist?

I simply want to know what happened - nothing more, nothing less.

They started by saying the seller offered AP but used Sendle, but they keep saying they didn't select AP.

If they didn't select AP, then the seller did nothing wrong.

It doesn't really matter anyway... I'm obviously not going to get a straight answer, so I'm outta here.

You've got me confused because I am a buyer, admittedly an occasional buyer but I have bought a fair few things on ebay over the years.

Never, ever, after I click on commit to buy, have I ever seen a choice to select the postage method. All I am shown is how much to pay.

The postage details are usually in the ad itself.

I am actually just checking out a few items on my watched list to find out if I am going mad or not but I think I am right.

The ads usually say. For example, one on mine says $10 Australia post standard parcel.

But a different item says $11 standard parcel delivery.

I am assuming that is not necessarily via Australia post but exactly which company it will be is not stated even in the further details.

So my conclusion is the seller chooses the postage method.

The buyer, as far as I can make out in my own transactions, is never (or not usually) given a tick the box choice.

I guess you could say that by buying from that seller, they 'chose' to accept that postage method but I think sometimes buyers groan and buy despite not necessarily loving the carrier, not because they actively would choose it.

My reading of OP's problem is the ad the bought from said Aus post but the seller sent it a different way, via sendle.

For me, if I got the item on time I'd probably leave it at that but  deelighted has the right to feel a little bit disgruntled.
