Hi I have bought an item worth 559 AUD by mistake and have requested to cancel order like 3 mins after the transaction and even sent a message but seller isn't responding to my msgs or the request even though its been like 5 hours since seller last updated his ad (meaning he's been active on ebay since 5 hours ago yet failed to respond to my msgs) What should I do? I want to cancel order asap so I can buy another one from a seller with a better reputation but ebay system says it may take 3 to 5 days for seller to respond
Is there any way to cancel immediately without sellers consent?

If you really don't want the item, your only option would be not to accept the parcel when it arrives (WITHOUT opening it), so it will go back to the sender, but be sure you don't want to buy from them ever again because they will probably block you.
It could be an uphill fight for the OP to get all the money back if that happens Papermoon, since technically it's not an INR case, and the seller is likely to want restocking fees, postage fees (both ways) etc taken off the original price.

But in some of their reviews people said to stay away from them and sellers who use them. But sellers attitude (of not responding and ignoring me) is already challenging my trust in this seller

Yes, I agree that the seller might not refund the whole amount. There is no return postage cost if a parcel is not opened though, well, not with Australia Post at least. Sendle might charge something (I have no idea), in which case the seller will want the OP to pay of course. But as the item is very expensive, the OP should still get a considerable amount back.

You've bought & paid - why not just sit it out until the item arrives.
If in the described condition - bought & paid for - you won't make that ' mistake ' again.
If not in the described condition - you at least have a case.
Photograph the package - any damage - keep the original wrapping.

There are bad reviews for ALL couriers if you look at ProductReview, and actually theirs are not even that bad compared to others. People also tend to write reviews when they are angry (this is true of all companies).

Do you mean I have to pay for postage even if I have to return because items arrive damaged or faulty? Shouldn't seller always cover the postage cost when it is not change of mind return? I find it even weirder for seller to post such expensive item even after buyer expressed to cancel the sale

How good or bad they are, depends on which courier they use in your area (and how good or bad this courier is, again in your area).

Cab you tell me what will happen if seller doesn't respond even after 5 days in which cancellation request expire, would ebay step in and give me a refund?
Looks like seller won't send me the item because when I bought the item in dawn, the item was out of stock but when I checked same lisiting this morning it was changed to 1 sold, 1 remaining

Why shouldn't the buyer post the item - it has sold - he/she has the pennies - and hopefully packages well.

The seller doesn't have to respond or cancel, so, no, eBay won't step in and refund, but they will if the item does not arrive by the last day of the estimated delivery and you open a case.
Some sellers are not very responsive, but they still post the items, so I would not worry too much.
What is the seller's feedback?
