Hi I bought an item that costs 2600 and tge seller sent me wrong item. I sent him a msg about the problem but still got no reply. Should I open a case to return item or should I wait until the seller responds?

Really is this necessary? I don't have any neighbour I can ask to do this. Would my sister be ok? Also I repacked it already so only photo I have is the one I took to show the seller it is the wrong harp and also another one to show some blemishes that were on the soundboard. But it looks like seller isn't going to check the condition of the harp but payton, their supplier.
The reason why I bought the harp from ebay is because first it was cheaper and second for other music stores harp can only be bought online too (they deliver directly form warehouse) and cannot be seen or played in the music store and tried buying second hand harp but couldnt find any

Neighbour or sister... It does not matter. The Countess just meant a "witness". Or take a pic or a video that shows the date very clearly and how safely you have packaged the harp and that it is intact.

The seller you bought from is the one who has to give you the refund. So if they contacted you and said there was report about a blemish on the soundboard, you could reply that you had already sent them (the seller) a photo of that mark and the item had arrived with that mark.
Wrong harp, and a photo you have already sent of any blemishes it arrived with. You should get the full refund without too much trouble. Let us know how things go though.

The only thing I would want to do is have a copy or photo of the return shipping label so you know it has been delivered back to them. Also keep the copy of the message from the seller saying they are arranging the return.
As it was not sent by the seller either them or their supplier has made a mix up and the delay would have been in working out who is wearing the cost.
Did they mention if they would be sending the correct one.
It's frustrating when things go wrong and made worse when no fault of your own but best you can do is try and be patient and wait for them to sort it out.

No there was no mention of sending the correct harp but just sending it back for a refund. They said they didn't know the photo was incorrect so they probably only had stock for model B in the first place but just put photo of the different model.
They asked me whether I can print the shipping label off my printer so I said yes so I will have copy of the label

Others will know more on how the buyer side works but usually you enter the tracking into the return and when it is delivered ebay is informed. But it may not work that way when the label is not generated by ebay or with some courier companies. Also there may be an option to select the courier company and add tracking in your return but as ebay generated one the option may be gone so contacting ebay may be the only option to try and add it.

Eol, the OP cannot select the courier.
That is down to the seller.
Tracking should be uploaded into the case for ebay to see when it's delivered.

When I send items and add tracking I need to select the company used I thought it would be the same in reverse. I don't think I have ever had to return an item on ebay.

Thatโs correct. the item canโt exceed 105cm in length.
seller would need to arrange courier pick up

Do not use the Return Request process or you will need to pay for the return freight. Use the Item not as Described process
