Hi, I bought a group a vinyl records from a seller in Germany.
( 11 seperate records)
The order arrived, but there were issues with the order.
The biggest problem was that they left one of the records out.
I immediatly contacted the seller and they told me that they would send out the record.
I waited and waited........ finally I contacted the seller and they said, oops, I will send it tomorrow.
I waited, but nothing, so I contacted them again, now they will not respond.
I tried to open a case with paypal, but ebay tells me that too much time has passed and I am no longer covered by buyer protection.
I am not happy.
Does any one know if there is anything that I can do?
Thanks

If the seller has proof of posting the order the buyer will lose a claim for not received. The way round this is to open a dispute for not as described....part of the order is missing.
If it was 11 separate transactions just posted together the buyer should win if the seller can not produce 11 separate tracking numbers.

Depends on where the item was coming from, and whether it was an ebay or paypal dispute. Different sites, different rules.
If you had definite proof that AP lost the item such as a straight out admission then both ebay and paypal would have to accept that or you could go to the ombudsman.

Maybe both. You are, after all, half the planet away. I hope it's warmer there than here. We're starting to get frost.
You did, however, provide information that I had forgotten, re Paypal free returns.
Cccccccold, you don't know the meaning of the word. It is 11am and I have just coe back from the supermarket so was actually outside for less than 5 minutes and my fingers are white, frozen and ready to give me the heebie jeebies as they thaw out. It is meant to be spring for gawd's sake!!!
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.
See what a trendsetter I am?

I have done as suggested.
I actually rang paypal, they were quite helpful.
I have filed a claim under "item not as described"
I am disappointed to find that I cannot leave any feedback.
A seller truly deserves a negative and I can not even leave one.

Try putting the sellers name in here for feedback -
http://pages.ebay.com.au/services/forum/feedback.html
Unless it's over 60 days already
