Does anyone know what happens when sellers are found guilty of shill bidding.. I caught someone out over the weekend..
I don't know how they sleep at night, ripping people off!

Colour me strange but I would never know if I had been shilled or not.
I put in a max bid or set a snipe at a price I think is reasonable for what I am wanting to buy and then I either get it for that or I don't.
I never bother to go looking at the bidding history.

It depends on how much eBay make off them in fees. If they are a huge seller eBay will pretend they dont know what youre talking about. They work sort of like a bank where you are treated according to your wealth. I have come across that many shill bidders i could make a living policing them, but reporting them does nothing as eBay dont even understand there own policies and how theyve worded them. Even in my own investigations how does someone have 71% with a buyer as a bidder but never brought anything?
