The $10 voucher code  CMOB3 keeps coming up as invalid when I try to pay for my latest item on paypal which I purchased from factorykiss-ozhttp://www.ebay.com.au/itm/140999714792?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649  using my mobile phone. Is this a scam???? red49ner

To officially go "on topic" (Boring Alert!) I had a chat to customer support, and my latest update was this morning. My payment has been acknowledged, the voucher declared redeemed, and it is now for Paypal to assess it...so that to me appears to be no guarantee but here's hoping it ends well.

Still haven't heard a peep from ebay about voucher.

Knocked any desire to shop with a voucher to get a discount on ebay for me.

I don't expect it to fill you with much confidence, but surprisingly, I got a discount voucher emailed to this ID yesterday (part of the new round of offers, I guess). Went through without a hitch, even more surprisingly.

my sequence of events was: try to use it. fail. contacted online support. asked if they would honour by extending the date, or issue a new offer. told I would be given an update. 2 days later, had a personal email asking me to pay for a specific item number, and contact them when I had; then they would add me to a request list for Paypal for a 10$ refund on that one purchase.

I was told that in order for the refund request, I had to confirm to eBay support payment for that item, or it would not proceed. I did (had already paid) and was given an immediate reply saying they had put the request in to Paypal and a refund would take a few days.

Today I was told by eBay that Paypal would be in charge of assessing the refund, which is a different thing, but may just mean it is now in Paypal's court and getting processed...here's hoping. I immediately emailed back and said I would follow it up if no refund in a week or so.

It's a lot of effort really for 10$, b ut they've put it out there, and should honour it.

It has meant I have met some lovely eBayers here, so that's a positive outcome in itself!
