This listing of a Nintendo Switch comes across as a definite scam with an unusally low price, quantity of 100 and, pictures and description stolen from some UK online store. Even so, I see that 82/100 have been sold which brings me to doubt whether this is a scam or just a lot of people falling for one. Could someone confirm for me?

Remember the PS4 boxes that were being flogged off a few years ago lyndal ??????????
Yes Padi, I remember.
I believe it was while the HIjack Hunters were still active and it took a lot less time ti nip it in the bud.

The playstation listing is down. I don't know how many got sold. Last I checked it was only 29, so the scammer was probably feeling a little disappointed over that amount. It was early afternoon when I checked last. Major letdown after the Nintendo listing.
I'm guessing there will be a new listing by morning. Something that will be more appealling, like Makita power tools or something.
Edit: the empty boxes was way more recent than HH. I think it was the power of a few members here that brought them unstuck. I wasn't around when the HH group was active.

The last lot of empty boxes were after the HH's thread was removed (there was an earlier version of empty
boxes when the thread was active but they were mainly for the different phone boxes).
Multiple reports from members/Emails and Live Chat reports is what got most of them remove.
They may still have had the Canadian Trust & Safety in charge when the empty PS boxes came up and they
always acted quite quickly (once they closed that section reports took longer to be acted upon and in some
cases it was taking quite a few days to get scam listings removed and almost impossible for anyone to act on
the weekends).
The Email option then became the best tool to use to report scam listings but then they stopped that option as
well and these days scam listings tend to stay up longer as they simply don't have an effective report option
for members to use and not enough staff to do something about those reports.
They simply don't care if members get ripped off as long as they can save money by having less staff.
The next scam listing is most likely to appear early Saturday morning as they have a greater success listing
them on the weekend.
