Why I am I being asked to pay twice for an item I have already received?

I have already settled the item in question I paid for it via bank deposit and here is the response I recieved from the seller after I contacted him when I received the first wrong notice form Ebay of non-payment.  The item in question was delivered to me and I find it absurd that my account should be black listed for non payment when the seller responded to me with the below message:

The seller just needs to mark it as payment received and item sent. Don't know why they haven't done that. Such an easy fix for them!

The messages you are receiving requesting payment sounds like the automated messages from Ebay when buyers haven't paid.

By the way, if seller doesn't fix just contact Ebay. They will read through your messages with seller and hopefully fix the problem.

Posting personal information on on eBay's boards, which are PUBLIC, is strictly forbidden, especially when it is not your own.

I have reported your post and hopefully the offending parts will be removed before they cause any damage.

There is no need to get so upset......even if it is an unpaid item dispute you only need to ask the seller to mark it as paid and it should end the process.

This is just another reason for payiing by paypal....the seller cannot open a dispute if the item has been paid for.

I'm assuming from your post that you have had an unpaid item case opened against you.

As others have said, this would be immediately fixed and the unpaid case close if the seller simply marks the item as Paid - it's just one click.

The seller could be trying to do a dodgy and use the unpaid item process to get their fees back. 

If you do end up with the case  closed against you, call ebay.  You can get the strike removed and report the seller at the same time.

Agree about posting such personal information, that's really low.

More importantly, their name, eBay ID and phone number.
