Won item at auction seller now wants $260 more

Hi , Everyone

I won the auction today on a chainsaw , I was very happy until I recieved 3 ebay messages from seller saying , i wont sell

at auction price. I did send a message back stating he should have canceeled the auction befor close, as he had no intention to sell it for less than his price, you guesed it still no answer. He is now wanting 260 dollars more for the item after auction.  Any advice on what to do next would be grateful

Thanks, M

They're both Briggs and Stratton.

The Masport is the same as mine.   Bought new on sale $400 I think

Hey, does that mean if you get it, you get to meet the seller?

Gunna be lots of PM's back and forth

Hi Helen, Not me bidding on the trampoline, I'm in Melbourne, I offered on the mower.

Or maybe that's what you meant.

Yes, meant the mower.

The trampoline would make a very good dryer for jumpers etc.

Lay flat.

With combined postage - bigger satchel - all good.

Have just upped the mower offer but this one is listed correctly as pick up only.

Seeing as one of our businesses is in keysborough, not far to pick up.

Or sun drying tomatoes. Smiley Wink

Just had a horrible vision of all the grubby feet that have

been on that tramp - and then to sun dry tomatoes on it?       Blerk

Yippee, I gots a mower. Accepted my offer.

Lets hope he doesn't want more for it when I pick it up. Smiley Frustrated

Cathy, I am also for being green, excercise etc., but the lawns are just too big for a hand mower.

Have a guy come and do them but occasionally I like to trim them between on the patches that grow better.

Been borrowing neighbors.

Plus I go to do my fathers lawns for him.
