I bought a toilet bidet washer and after paying a plmber to install it we did find out that was faulty , we contacted the seller and he said that he will pay half price of the money paid so I contacted Ebay customer service and they saying that because i haven't paid PayPal i have no right for their help, being a pensioner and to loose money that way is not fair, Ebay should hep anyone that buy anything from Ebay, is their own responsability and now i am so upset and don't know what to do

Rosa, what was wrong with it? Could the plumber have done something during installation? Although a plumber should know how to hook up a hose to the water.

I was thinking this was a few hundred dollars actual ceramic unit. It appears to be a mechanical plastic attachment.
I'd have to agree with the others. Accept the 50% refund and move on. It's a no name product, undoubtedly made in China. The reason you pay more for branded products (assuming there are some) is for the research and development they spend refining their products and building them to last.</p>
The seller is offering you 50% refund because that is obviously his mark-up at the minimum. He shouldn't be selling cheap products that will no doubt fail, but as long as people are willing to buy I guess they will continue.

The OP did say it was a washer, which most people seem not to have read.

The OP also used the word bidet and an bidet is a washer for the nether regions.
But what difference does it make....the only pertinent information is that it was paid by bank deposit and was faulty.

I know what a bidet is, but yes, it could be interpreted more than one way. I should have known that half the posts on here don't mean what they seem to say. Either way, they ended up down the proverbial.

I looked at the listing from the buyers feedback, hence knowing the price.

Tippy, that was the price for 2 of the item.
The OP only seems to have bought one so paid $25.00 odd.
With the offered 50% refund the OP will only be out of pocket by $13.00....not quite as large loss as the OP indicates and certainly no court action indicated.

She left feedback for the 2x listing, so I'm wondering if she did end up getting 2 of them and if both were faulty. Maybe that's why the seller only offered a 50% refund, because only one was faulty? If you expand the sellers feedback to 200 per page, it's about 1/3 of the way down on page 25. No, I didn't go through every feedback for 25 pages of 200! I used the "find" option (ctrl-F) using the words in her feedback. Took less than 5 minutes to find it.

No wonder I did not find it....I only went back about 15 pages. Boredom set in about then.
It would be a bit of a coincidence if both were faulty, wouldn't it? Sounds like another case of only giving us half the story.

50% refund, two purchased, one working!
Sounds like a wash to me
