I recently purchased an item on eBay Australia from NSW. The item arrived damaged and did not fit the description as shown in the Ebay photo. I contacted the seller he stated he would give me a refund etc and arrange for a courier to pick it up or send a postal satchel for me to return it. I agreed. that was 2 weeks ago and he has gone quiet. He will not respond to any of my Emails or requests. I have tried to contact customer service Ebay Australia and that has been absolutely impossible?? select this tab, then this tab and then this tab, and you end up at the first tab that says select this for customer service help. What an absolute bloody CON. If anyone out there can assist me in enabling me to supply feedback to a seller you can't give feedback to please let me know. He has a seller rating of 5.8 out of 6 and all the feedback reviews must have written by him. Ebay Australia needs to sort there **bleep** out and make more user friendly.

You should be more concerned about opening and following through with an item not as described dispute than leaving a red dot
It is not impossible to contact eBay at all
But since you wanted to do your own thing and play games with the seller, you are not covered by the MBG so pointless to contact eBay
Very simple to open a dispute, which is all you needed to do
And no reason you can’t leave feedback, unless you have left that too late too
You need to read the buying basics rather than blame eBay for you not knowing how things work

Just as an aside, I am not sure what you mean by he has a seller rating of 5.8 out of 6, seller feedback is shown in a % out of 100 and sellers cannot leave feedback for themselves
Plus reviews are for products, not sellers
What is this seller registered and what is their feedback actually like, not the product reviews, the actual seller’s feedback

If the item arrived within the last 30 days, you can open a return request under eBay’s MBG.
If it’s been longer than 30 days, you are out of time.
However, if you funded your payment through PayPal, you can open a return / refund claim through PayPal. Timeframe is up to 180 days from the date of the transaction.
If all else fails, and your payment was funded by credit or debit card, you can contact your bank/card issuer for chargeback.
Forget about feedback. That’s not the priority here.

Read countess's reply. Feedback is not the priority here.
Get a full refund. You may still be in time.
Don't muck around contacting the seller, open an ebay claim for faulty item or not as described and follow it up. That last bit is vital.
Ebay will force the seller to refund or issue you with a return postage label.
At the moment, you have a feedback of 2 after your name. This seller is hoping that you are new and won't have a clue what to do for a refund. He is leading you on and hoping you run out of time (30 days from arrival of your item). Prove him wrong!
Any seller who says they are going to send a courier or arrange a satchel is having you on. Never agree to it. There is no reason they can't send a postal label link direct to you online. Immediately. Don't ever agree to go along with sellers who offer replacements or this sort of service. Open an ebay claim.
Do all that, then maybe come back here to find out about feedback as there are regulations about that too so you want to get it right so the seller cannot have it removed.
