hello can anyone help out? i received a package today with my name and address on it but i didn't order it anything else from Ebay. The senders address was on there however they are a 4X4 shop and the package i received were second hand bag pipes!! I called them but obviously they didn't send them and after we both stopped laughing agreed something has gone very wrong here. I want to make sure my account is secure and that someone else isn't looking for their bag pipes😭

www.abc.net.au/news/2023-02-06/brushing-scams-warning-sign-data-breach
Amazon has a procedure to report unsolicited parcels that may be part of a brushing scam, can't see anywhere on eBay to report.
Basically it's a form of marketing fraud, usually using publicly available information, but can sometimes indicate a data breach. Is your name and address listed in the white pages?

Can't see it as a brushing scam.
They usually send something small and useless and of little value.

Maybe it's a very small and useless and cheap set of bag pipes...?
