I'd like to add some suggestions for the search feature.
1) PLEASE add the ability for us to set the DEFAULT search type!
I am so sick of EVERY SEARCH, having to change to AUSTRALIA ONLY!
2) PLEASE make another search option, whereby you identify if the seller is a foreign account not located in and registered on ebay Australia.
I'm so fed up with the constant issues with drop shipping sellers because they often don't know if the item is available due to the drop shipping warehouse catering to an open amount of offshore sellers.
3) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find a way to ENSURE THAT SELLERS SEND ITEMS BY THE METHOD THEY LISTED (Eg: AUSTRALIA POST, Courier etc) or at least add a method that the BUYER can CANCEL the transaction if the seller has sent by a different method to that listed.
I recently purchased an item and it said it was sent with Auspost but the tracking number they provided says FASTWAY couriers, and they have been bought by aramex and I've had constant delivery issues with them, therefore I WONT purchase an item if it will be sent with aramex)
4) UPDATE the delivery methods please!!!!! Some items are showing as sent with FASTWAY couriers but Fastway was purchased by ARAMEX in 2016 (YES, 5 YEARS AGO) and states on their website
"Aramex Australia (formerly Fastway Couriers)".
These issues are causing myself (and others I know) to purchase less and less through ebay!
Solved! Go to Solution.

We are all normal members here, not eBay staff. We can give suggestions or try to help, but we cannot implement changes. 😞

It's generally agreed by members that eBay do not read the forums, and if they do they certainly don't respond to them.

I don't know... People here usually say that they don't...
It is possible that some secretly read, but if they do, it is highly unlikely they will pass it on.

Yes there is since the members here usually have a better handle on eBay problems than the CS reps do.

People come here and ask for help when they don't know what to do or why something has happened. Experienced members here can help in such situations, offer advice etc., but we cannot do anything only eBay can do, like changing the website or its functions, issue refunds etc.

If a person needs correct information and factual answers ,for the most part, yes
As mentioned, members here have long time experience across a wide range of things, unlike CS staff who read from the closest script they have to a question, or tell the person what they want to hear to 'get rid of them'
Few CS staff have real experience as buyers or sellers on eBay
If a person wants changes made to their personal accounts or to how eBay 'works' then no, members cannot do that

No, Maybe next time ebay ask you to complete a survey, you may have a chance to put forward your suggestions.

No, of course not since they are not employed by eBay (despite what some members think............)

Well, what a dog's breakfast that was to read, when nearly every answer was ticked as green.
I thought I'd gone down a rabbit hole.
