So 4channel, did you go into that link I gave you and input your postcodes, dimensions and weight then find an airmail service provided by Canada Post for CA $4.40 ??????

Under nomal circumstances, Canada post takes possibly a week longer than USPS. I have had stuff come in about 3 weeks in the past.. So economy must come via air.

How much experience have you had with Canada Post?
Even before Coronavirus problems surfaced it was always slow (and expensive) and many sellers will quote airmail postage but send via surface mail when they find out how expensive airmail is.

Lyndal, I've had stuff come in the past from Canada and it hasn't been that bad.
Anyway, I think to be safe with the Corona thing and all, I'll buy from the US. I should be able to find the same item from a US seller who can send it via economy. So far economy for me hasn't been too bad. Quite good actually and only a week's difference historically for me. Still if it doesn't offer tracking like the much used USPS First Class Int. then that may be a concern. Yes a bit of a concern. I''ll weigh it all up.

sounds riight. posting from canada can be cheap too..but some sellers are making money extra on the postage costs ... at the moment by raising.. the prices on postage. there is a lot of people unemployed .out there now

Yes you're right too. I have seen evidence of that. I guess that desperate times call for desperate measures. Still, good honest dealing creates good Karma and those who are honest will reap better rewards in the long run I dare say.
