Hi
I brought a few things and would like to print myself an invoice as I need to claim them on Tax, how do I do this?
Thanks

I have made 2 payments in the last week that have included GST.....the amounts of GST are clearly shown on the paypal receipt.
The payment to one seller only shows the GST at the bottom of the main receipt as it is paid to ebay but it is clearly labelled GST.
The multiple seller receipt has the GST as a separate transaction below the payment to the seller it concerns....again it shows as payment to ebay for the GST.

Employer will not accept this from me either 😞 it needs to have an invoice number! I have contacted the sellers as I could find not other option. Hate the hassle.

If the seller is Australian you will only get a Tax Invoice if the seller is registered for GST. If not registered all you can get is an ordinary receipt and the item is tax deductable but not GST claimable.
If the item has come from overseas click on Order Details at the top of the page. When youget to the order details there is a Tax Invoice link on the left hand side of the page. You can then print this off for your employer.
This is very new......I only found it a few weeks ago.

Even if a business is registered in Australia it cannot issue a Tax Invoice unless it is registered for GST....there is a vast difference.

Just go to your paypal account and print details at the bottom of a transcation. Hope that helps, I have sent the parcel thus i cant print it for you.

If you're trying to reply to one of your buyers, here is not the place to do it.
This is a community forum and you've answered someone who asked the question 7½ years ago.
Reply to your buyer through the transaction.

eBay look like lthey have recently implemented downloading PDFs of the Tax Invoice (a proper one) if the purchase includes a GST component. Not all purchases include GST, but for those that do, you can find the Tax Invoice hidden away here —

Not all that recent.....the advice was given back in March last year when it was even harder to find.
