I sent in all the proof but they still really let him get away with this I will stop using ebay after 19 years cos I am just blown away by how they could let this guy still sell iPads brand new when they are used.

Yet again eBay do not sell anything
You claim you have stopped buying yet have 8 feedback left in the past month alone, so clearing you have not stopped buying
All you other posts on here complaining about eBay were all down to you getting not special treatment well past the time limit for the MBG, failing to check feedback before buying and expecting you would be covered by eBay anyway, and attacking other members who posting factual information based on policy every buyer is required to follow when problems arise
Nobody has any idea who 'this seller' is
If the feedback mentioned the item was fake, that is likely why it is removed
And if people do not know the buying basics after 19/20 years, it is a good idea to leave

Funny how the things a person posts on the forums can come back and bite them after 3 or 4 months Sandy...................

They did this to me too recently. I gave ebay the full message history. I called them probably over 10 times to get the negative feedback restored to the seller's account. Despite every support person agreeing completely with me, and them saying they will pass it to their "back office team" or "feedback team" (which seems to be code in the Philippines phone call-centres for
"I want an excuse to do nothing about this and hang up the phone, so I can avoid doing my job"),
and promising me the feedback team would get back to me in 24 hours, then 48 hours, then saying "they will get back to you within three days" after one of my calls 7 days later: Nobody EVER got back to me.
The seller did really dodgy things in their feedback section too, such as for negative feedback, they would write the buyer's full name, address, and personal details in response to the negative feedback. I told ebay about this, and they removed that, but didn't restore my negative feedback.
Completely undermines my trust and faith in the platform. I still buy here, because that is one bad seller, but I definitely am using alternatives more and more these days to avoid this monopoly.
Also, the way they are destroying their platform by "appifying" the desktop experience.
The messaging system is TERRIBLE now, I hate it.

Funny how the things a person (ebay ambassador?) posts on the forum are constantly spreading negativity and bringing other members down.
What is so special about the 8 feedbacks left in the past months? ! have store credits available from previous refunds that you can use to make any purchases later on, I am surprised that you don't seem to know about that, sometimes it is good to see things outside the box and stop making assumptions.

I don't know why you believe providing factual information = spreading negativity
No innocent members have been bitten
Members being aware of policy does not make them 'eBay ambassadors'
I'm sorry you don't like people being given factual information
I certainly will not be stopping providing it to people because you have an issue with it
I don't need to make assumptions

Before the edit, I was of the belief that the dispute was found in the sellers favor. If so the seller can elect to have any feedback +, N, or - removed.

Well Jane (OP), I most certainly hope you received a refund.
The iPad's have all been listed in the "Brand New" category.
The Item Specifics show:

Casey, I spent upwards of an hour with CS (escalated to a supervisor) trying to get a neg reinstated after eBay removed it (it was something along the lines of "No communication by the seller. Seller sent the items to South Australia when I live in Western Australia").
They claimed I'd breached policy when I had done no such thing. They claim a "manager" is going to email me tomorrow.
I'll believe that when I see it...............
