14 Day hotel isolation

Hotels are not designed for disease mitigation - for example many have sealed windows so can not disperse any pathogens , also have common ducted ventilation without effective filters or anti-viral devices installed .

Saved a good sneeze - aimed it at the airconditioner - fell short by a good few metres.

Being just over half way through a voluntary 14 day self isolation I get what they are saying. It's tough doing it at home with my own stuff around and plenty of room and a garden to move about in. 

In just one room, even with food supplied etc, it would be very hard on your mental strength. Necessary, but hard.

One of the quarantine Sydney hotels (Swissotel Market Street in the city), I stayed at in 2015 and it's 5 star, with nice rooms, lovely staff, and amazing views. Even our huge bathroom had wall to wall views!!!

I agree - BUT.

It does seem a little strange - that all of a sudden - we are being told to ' isolate '.

How many realise - they have actually been doing this  - for yonks - BY:

Talking on their phone - while in company.

Checking their emails - while in company.

Facebook - while in company.

Twitter - while in company.

Truth is - they have ' isolated ' - not even knowing it.

OH - geez - now they don't like it.

If you can't get out, it's still a prison.
