Which ones your favourite? I haven't had a good look at them yet but so many stunning portraits.

Gee it came around quickly again Cosmosgrove 😄
I actually posted about them on another thread so will just repeat it here:
'I have a short list of 4
Being a bit of a traditionalist I love:
Sally Ryan's painting - great hands and colour
Joshoa McPherson's painting of the schoolgirl
Julie Dowling's painting
Michael Vale's mysterious portrait caught my eye too
What about Lindeman's letter? lol'

It is hard to choose a favourite this year but I like the young self portrait by Marcus Callum and the Ukulele by Prudence Flint because I really like simplistic art if that's what it is although I'm sure it's not simple.

The traditional ones I like are by Marcus Callum and Joshua McPherson, but of the not so traditional I do like Michael Lindeman 😄 and Joshua Yeldham. But then I also like Warwick Gilbert, Mertim Golkap, Wendy Sharpe and Fiona Lowry.
Something about Sarah Hendy's appeals to me also oh and Julia Ciccarone. I probably would be better just listing the few I don't like, now who do I think will win? I'll have to sleep on that I think.
Some interesting media in there also, one on steel and one on aluminium.

I was wondering about he Naomi Watts one, it says it's oil. I can't make up my mind if I like it or not. I want to see it in person 😄
I liked the Ken Done one until I enlarged it, then didn't really. Naomi was the opposite 😄
I like the Warwick Gilbert one. I also like the Vincent Vantauzzo one but wouldn't like it at home. The Carlo Pagoda stainless steel one is interesting as is Paul Jackson's Jo.

freaki, I just had a look at them enlarged. I really thought it looked like a water colour ! I still like it, although I'm not sure Naomi would. I think I like the Ken Done one becasue the patterns in the background etc seem to be part of who Ken Done as an artist, is.

I don't like the red around Naomi's eyes but quite like the rest of the painting, it just looks too harsh or something for me. I'm not so keen on the Ken Done one, it looks like plasticine but I do think it would make a cool plasticine animation :^O
Will anyone get the opportunity to see them, i just noticed that Joshua Yeldham is cane, shells and instrument?
