ARE YOU ONE OF AUSTRALIA’S 10 MILLION WORKING TAXPAYERS ?

IF SO, PLEASE PAY $1,200 IN EXTRA TAXES EVERY YEAR JUST TO PAY THE INTEREST ON LABOR’S DEBT.

(Personally I would prefer the left and labor voters to pay this debt)

In 2007, when Labor came to power, the Australian Government was COLLECTING more than $1 billion a year in net interest payments on the back of a positive net asset position created by the previous Coalition Government.

Now, we are forced to pay $1 billion a month in interest payments just to service all the debt accumulated by the previous Labor government.

That is means for every one of about 10 million working taxpayers across Australia has to pay about $100 in tax each and every month, or about $1,200 in tax every year, JUST to pay the interest on Labor’s debt

Maybe a new question

Are You One of the 75 Australian Millionaires that pay no income tax at all? it's 75 now.

ATO data reveals seven-figure incomes but no tax paid.

Well golly gosh BIG,  (2010-2011) When the Circus were in town and could pass legislation,  they initiated the Henry Tax review: "Labor adopted only three of the 138 recommendations, THREE !!

Currently any tax "lurks" are thanks to the Circus, oh  do not forget Conroy and his contribution to TLS share price and dividends, I have lots,  and do not pay any tax on them (or the rest of my portfolio)  thank you, thank you, Circus  and assorted Caucus Clowns.

These ex Telstra employees have nothing to be happy about - Telstra made 1600 positions redundant in the 12 months ending 30 June 2014.

Plus 671 positions sent into Asia in July.

Instead they could keep more jobs here and squeeze the profit margins to be less.

So what is it you are saying?

Are you saying that you accept the system is being rorted, but because you personally profit from it, it’s all ok as far as you are concerned.

Are you also saying, because the last government was aware of the problem but did nothing, this justifies the present government doing the same; because as long as these people can continue to do what you do, you will continue to profit from it.

Finally are you saying that those who don’t profit from it, and in fact are disadvantaged by it, have no legitimate grievance and a rightful expectation that the Government they elected, do something about it?

‘Stuff you Jack, I’m all right’ immediately comes to mind.

Qld - Single Newstart allowance with maximum rent assistance (payable for rent over $200 per week)  is a total f/n payment of $645.50.

You get a Health Care Card (for prescriptions) but no concession card, no discounts on phone, public transport, power, rego etc.

So scenario - Rent $200p/w (if you can find anything other than a caravan for that price) would leave you the HUGE sum of $122.00 per week for food, power, electricity, and petrol/rego/maintenace on a car.

Joe Hockey wasn't far wrong - the poor really can't afford a bluddy car!! Hell they can hardly afford to clothe themselves if they want to eat!

The Australia I grew up in had a social conscience. If you were able to look after yourself, and yours, then that what you were expected to do. If you couldn’t you could expect a hand up (not out)

That is the way it was then. That is how it should be now.

She-ele. Your grandson sounds like a fine young man. Please don't feel you have to explain his circumstances here. Some will try and bait you and it is not fair that you are being asked to justify his situation. You don't owe anyone an explanation. I feel for him and his family and he is lucky to have a caring grandparent such as yourself.

Agree but sadly all we see now days is the memememe mentality all wanting a HAND OUT and do nothing at all for it

Agree but sadly it isnt, its all about how much are you going to give me and I deserve it mentality...  The left and socialist mantra is...  "someone else should pay for my lifestyle"
