That would be nice if it happened Mapalarkin, but I have noticed over the years a lot of other parents are hypocrites/two faced.

I have noticed that too especially in the clicky mums at the school.I just tell myself now that these people are just unsure of themselves and no matter how hard they try they will never be as good as me.That always makes me smile

hi everyone

im down the south coast atm and ive just attended a tony attwood seminar today and i have another day to go tomorrow.

its the first time ive seen him and yes, he is very good.

not giving me a whole lot of hope tho coz he said that his son is aspie and has developed OCD (same as my daughter who is also called tahlia - lol dolly) and his son is not addicted to all sorts of drugs, legal and not and alcohol becoz its the only thing that makes him feel relaxed and he now steals etc to fund his habits...

and this is the son of the 'world reknown expert on aspergers' and a professor of clinical psychology ... and he cant even solve it :_|

and dolly not that i want to freak u out but u should know all the facts, tony said today that ASD happens quite often in families like more than one child with it and he also said that the strains of it seem to get worse as u go along. meaning ur first ASD kid might have aspergers and say your 4th might have classic autism, meaning the degree is more severe. he didnt know if it was becoz by the time u have ur later children u are also older but he did say that ASD is more common in the over 35 age group with the likelihood going from 1 in 4 to 1 in 2! i dont know how old u are and im not trying to turn u off but u should know ... then chances are ur 3rd could be neuro-typical...theres only one way to find out

i should proof read - argh

not addicted should read noW addicted

o and about the tshirts etc i dont think i would feel comfortable wearing those. consider the kid with the big nose and his mum wears a tshirt saying i love my kids big nose coz he can smell better than anyone else or something similar, it would just be embarrassing to the child i think. thats how i would feel as the parent or the child.

but thats just my opinion.

Hi Talky, it was the complete opposite with my 3 kids........re: ASD.

I was 24 when I had my 1st bub and she has ASD.........had my 2nd bub at 26 and he is ADHD &ODD and I was 38 when I had my 3rd baby and she doesn't have anything like her brother or sister has.

So it went the other way for me.

evenin' all ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks for that info talky, it interesting isnt it? i wonder why that is ?:| i can already see that tahlia will be more severe than joseph, or maybe she is just more stubborn ๐Ÿ˜
I just dont know what to do. we want a third, but as you say, they may be autistic. on the other hand EVERY pregnancy is high risk, only a reletively small number make it to term, and even then there is a high percentage of disabled children. the chances of number 3 being diabled isnt all that much higher than any other pregnancy. Joe and tahlia have differant fathers, number 3 would have the same dad (my hubby) as tahlia.
I am 24 (25 in december) hubby is 24 (25 in september) joe is 5, tahlia is 2 (both born in november)

I don't know what normal is anymore
