Re: **AUTISM / ASPERGERS SUPPORT GROUP**

I havent been on here much lately either as life is always a downer for us there dont seem to be many breakthroughs.

I do have some good news for once though my boy started at the ED Unit at his new school yesterday. Whilst his teacher said there were up and downs she was quite pleased and said he was mostly good and did the most work in one day he would have ever done in his whole time at school. She even managed to do assessments his regular school could never do accurate reports as they could never do the assessments for him he wouldnt sit still long enough.
I would say it was very sucessful as mum didnt get any calls to pick him up. He hasnt done a full day for 3 terms and hasnt been at school at all for 10 weeks.

So we have a very happy mummy right now and child ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: **AUTISM / ASPERGERS SUPPORT GROUP**

Lisa, that is encouraging news, especially this of the year when things get a bit hectic at school and can throw our kids right out of kilter.

Mr16 has 2 exams left (2 physics papers) then next Friday is his graduation day from school - I cannot believe that the long crazy stressful journey through his school education will be over in a week!

He has been amazing - his counsellor, who supervises his exams (he has special provision to do them on his own as he can't block out other kids noises) has rung me 2x to say how happy she is with how he has coped. His results come out in early January.

I put it down to melatonin = good nights sleep; a multivitamin a day and 4 drops of rescue remedy before each exam!

Great to read everyones news, C_C_G , take care of yourself, eat lots of spinach and red meat ๐Ÿ™‚ Dolly. I hope Joe is feeling better, love your new Xmas cap ๐Ÿ™‚ .

Great new Lisa! Hope things continue to go well for your little man ๐Ÿ™‚

Rae, so glad to hear Mr 16 has coped exceptionally well with exams, you must be so proud! Very best of luck for his results in Jan although I suspect he will do really well!

Dolly, how did the party go? Hope Joe had a ball and was feeling better!
