Thanks for all the advice and the links. I've printed off a checklist kind of thing and have marked all the things that apply to our son and have written detailed explanations to go with it. I am going to send that to his pead (who we have an appointment to see later this month). He has been treating Master 13 since he was about 8. He is a developmental pead so he specializes in kids with disabilities.
So I kind of wonder if our son had Aspergers wouldn't he have picked it up by now? Although he only sees us 2 or 3 times a year for about 20 mins each time.
Then someone mentioned that some people are not diagnosed with Asp until they are older - teens to adult so now I am just plain confused.
He has been diagnosed with Dyspraxia, Auditory Processing Disorder and he has one eye that turns out when he is tired (meaning by about 2pm if he's done lots of reading/writing he has trouble focusing)
So he certainly has his share of stuff going on - as well as Asthma and Eczema but with him heading off to high school next year and his growing anxiety about it I think we really should cover all our bases so to speak and see what the pead says.
"Something wicked this way comes!"
